Zuid-Kennemerland National Park

Located north of Zandvoort, lies one of the largest dune areas in the Netherlands.

This beautiful dune landscape is perfect for taking various walks and cycling trips. In the National Park are several lakes and viewpoints and there is a good chance of encountering fallow deer or Scottish Highlanders.

Nature Reserve Amsterdamse Waterleidingduin

South of Zandvoort, lies this beautiful dune area, which is set up to extract drinking water for the city of Amsterdam.

It is also a beautiful nature reserve which is exclusively accessible to hikers, ideal for a walk along marked footpaths or by wandering through the nature reserve on your own. Along the way in this area, you may encounter fallow deer, roe deer and foxes during a walk.
